BAINGAN ALOO ( BRINGLE & POTATO MASALA )

  BAINGAN ALOO   ( BRINGLE & POTATO MASALA ) Ingredients 250 gm Brinjal (Baingan) small size 1 medium size potato peeled and cut into pieces 1/2 tsp Salt 1/4 tsp Red Chilly powder 1/4 tsp Turmeric (Haldi) powder 1 tsp Dhania Powder 1/2 tsp Garam Masala 2 to 3 tsp cooking Oil Lets Start Mix Salt,  Red chilly powder, Turmeric powder , Dhania Powder, Garam masala in a bowl Make a slit on the Brinjal from the center and fill it with the above ingredients which you mixed in the bowl Take a Wok ( k adhayi ) Add cooking Oil and then add potatoes and Brinjal. Also add left over masala on it and stir properly so that masala is coated on the brinjal as well as potatoes. Just give a sprinkle of water and cover it Keep it on a low flame Keep stirring it after intervals of 10 minutes till it gets soft and check the potatoes also if they are soft and done. INGREDIENTS

 

1 CUP MAIDA (WHITE FLOUR)

2 TBSP CRUSHED / POWDERED SUGAR

1/4 TSP BAKING SODA

1+1/4 TSP BAKING POWDER

A PINCH OF SALT

MELTED BUTTER 2 TBSP

WARM MILK APPROX 2 REGULAR CUPS FOR MAKING IT A FINE PASTE

LITTLE OIL FOR GREASING THE PAN

ORIGINAL MAPLE PANCAKE SYRUP

 

LETS START MAKING IT 

 

TAKE A BOWL 

ADD 1 CUP MAIDA (FLOUR)

ADD CRUSHED SUGAR

THEN ADD BAKING SODA AND BAKING POWDER 

A PINCH OF SALT

AND MIX ALL THE DRY INGREDIENTS FOR A MINUTE

IN A SEPARATE MUG,  ADD MELTED BUTTER IN A MUG OF WARM MILK 

THEN ADD IT TO THE DRY INGREDIENTS AND MIX IT USING A WHISK MAKING A FINE BATTER. ADD WARM MILK LITTLE AT A TIME SO THAT NO LUMPS ARE FORMED. IT SHOULD BE IN FALLING CONSISTENCY. 

AT THIS TIME TASTE THE SUGAR IN THE BATTER IF ITS GOOD ACCORDING TO YOUR TASTE , IF LESS THEN ADD A LITTLE.

 NOW TAKE A NON STICK PAN , HEAT IT ON HIGH FLAME, THEN LOWER THE FLAME APPLY OIL WITH A BRUSH AND THEN WIPE IT OFF.

NOW POUR YOUR BATTER 1 BIG SERVING SPOON ON YOUR NON STICK PAN AND ON MEDIUM FLAME COOK IT TILL YOU SEE SMALL BUBBLES ON IT. THAT MEANS IT READY TO BE FLIPPED. 

FLIP IT AND COOK IT FOR A MINUTE ON MEDIUM FLAME ONLY.

THEN YOU WILL SEE IT WILL START RISING AND BECOME FLUFFY, LET IT RISE FULLY AND THEN FLIP IT, SLIGHTLY COOK IT ON THE OTHER SIDE TOO. 

AND YOUR SOFT FLUFFY PANCAKE IS READY.

YOUR KIDS WOULD LOVE IT AND EVEN ADULTS LOVE EATING THESE.

NOW POUR SOME PANCAKE SYRUP ON IT

YOU CAN ALSO SERVE IT WITH ICE CREAM.
